My experiance there, was fun. But the acedemics, besides mah were not very strong. I entered highschool with next to no knowlage about biology. We mostly did some physics but no pre-bio... the buildings are in good condition but the toilets are always overflowing in that town so the whole down smelled bad like twice a month. For the 13-15,000 that you are paying, its not woth it. But i will say that they well prepare you or your child for sports
I currently have two children at The Grammar School in Putney and my oldest child graduated from there two years ago. It is a magical place. The children are interested and engaged in their learning. The teachers are committed, well-educated and invested in each child's educational experience. The music program is outstanding - all of my kids are now musicians. Art is part of the everyday curriculum and highly valued. Support for children with learning differences is an additional fee. The sports program encourages team building and fun. Even kids that previously did not like sports end up playing while attending The Grammar School. There are extensive field trips, including to Montreal and Quebec. The Foreign Language program begins at youngest levels and includes French and Spanish. Students perform well in secondary school after attending TGS.
It was nice
A nurturing community for the art's and academics with a strong emphasis on social and environmental justice.
